WWE Targeting Kids, Latest On Mysterio, Flair/Raw Tonight
Source – Wrestling Observer Newsletter
- WWE is now taking the initiative to specifically target children 6-10 years old. Over the last year the kids audience has grown tremendously much credited to John Cena and Rey Mysterio. Look for future angles to be based more around comedy and less around sex appeal or even the incest angle that has went pretty much nowhere as of now. As previously reported, WWE will be doing a website cartoon and they will be debuting a new bi-monthly magazine called WWE Kids.
- Rey Mysterio's biceps got infected from his initial surgery, so he's now had three operations. Many close to the situation are worried about the new procedure that was used, as Dr. James Andrews, an expert in this field, doesn't do it that way. Nonetheless Mysterio is still slated to return to the ring by June.
- Ric Flair was on the syndicated "Primetime With The Packman" radio show this evening and said that "they're doing something big for me on Raw tonight but no one will tell me what it is." We reported what they will be doing earlier here on the site. If you want to be spoiled, look for the post titled "Major RAW *Spoiler* For Tonight" on the newsboard.
