Angle Vs. Joe Again, Backstage Lockdown Visitors, Joe's Contract, More
Angle vs. Joe is scheduled to headline this weekends Northeast Wrestling event. For more info visit northeastwrestling.com.
Chris Nowinski and Slyck Wagner Brown were both backstage at Lockdown. Nowinski visited with TNA stars in their hotel rooms after the show.
It appears as if Samoa Joe's claim last week during the TNA Lockdown press conference that he had not signed a new deal with the promotion was part of his angle with Jim Cornette. Most believe that he is signed, as TNA wouldn't put the TNA Title on him otherwise, and he told someone in an interview in October of 2007 that he is signed for several more years.
Johnny Devine was interviewed on Wrestling Observer Live after the Lockdown PPV last night. Devine said he was stretched three times by Stu Hart, and that the Hart family patriarch still had a "grip of iron" in his early 80's. Devine also said that Scott D'Amore was instrumental in getting him a spot in TNA.
