RAW Complaints, HBK Fakes The Wrong Knee 'Injury', More
WWE.com is hyping up the number of complaints they got after William Regal took RAW off the air before the end of the Triple H vs. Randy Orton match, saying its the most complaints they have gotten since Mr. McMahon's limo exploded.
It's worth noting that Shawn Michaels "injured" his right leg in his match against Batista at Backlash on Sunday, but was acting as if his left leg was the injured one Monday on RAW. It's not yet known if this was a mistake by Michaels or if this is part of the storyline with Chris Jericho using Michaels' mistake to prove that he was playing possum at the PPV.
WWE.com has a video up of Shawn Michaels having his left knee examined following the Backlash PPV.
Hiroshi Tanahashi is out of action for NJPW with torn ligaments in his left nee. He suffered the injury on April 8th in his Champions Carnival match with Toshiaki Kawada when he executed his frog splash. Tanahashi continued to work with the injury, taking multiple pain killer shots over the weeks, but has been instructed that if he did not get surgery, he was risking long-term damage. Tanahashi is expected to miss 6-months if he gets the reconstructive surgery. He was scheduled to work the May 5th Korakuen Hall show, but now looks to be off of that show.
