Steve Austin DVD Doing Very Well, Amy Hennig Signs W/ WWE, Lots More

The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD has sold 46,973 copies since its release, so it's a huge hit for WWE.

WWE star Rey Mysterio was nominated for "Best Extreme Athlete" for the for the 2nd Annual "American Latino TV Awards", which are connected to the nationally syndicated "American Latino TV" and "LatiNation" series.

Dusty Rhodes will be appearing on the 5/2 Florida Championship Wrestling event in Port Richey, FL. No official word yet on a TV debut for FCW.

WWE has signed Curt Hennig's daughter Amy to a developmental contract, who had a tryout at Ohio Valley Wrestling a few months ago. Amy is currently training with her brother Joe (who doesn't have a WWE contract) at Harley Race's wrestling school in Eldon, MO. Even though all of the WWE developmental talent are in Florida, due to the closeness of Hennig and Race (Harley was Larry's tag partner in the 60s), she is training there for now. She has no previous wrestling experience.

Some WWE stars will be appearing on American Idol's "Idol Gives Back" show, which airs on Wednesday night on Fox. According to the article, John Cena, Triple H and Chris Jericho will be appearing on the show. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is also scheduled for an appearance.
