Brock Lesnar's Next UFC Opponent Revealed
FightLine.com reported today that Brock Lesnar's next opponent has been named. As Fightline.com reported earlier this week, Mark Coleman, Lesnar's original opponent for UFC 87, was forced to drop out of his fight with Lesnar due to a knee injury that will keep him sidelined for the next six weeks.
Today, Fightline.com has confirmed that Heath Herring will step in as Coleman's replacement and will face Brock Lesnar at UFC 87.
UFC 87 is slated for August 9 and will mark the UFC's debut in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The fight card is shaping up nicely; just last week the UFC announced that welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre will face Jon Fitch to headline the event.
Below is a look at the UFC 87 fight card as it stands:
Georges St. Pierre vs. Jon Fitch
Kenny Florian vs. Roger Huerta
Brock Lesnar vs. Heath Herring
Cheick Kongo vs. Dan Evensen
