WWE Edits JBL's Big Mouth, Hayes Still Has Big Influence
- On top of Ric Flair's mention of Chris Benoit being edited out, WWE have also cut a couple of JBL comments on the Wrestlemania/Hall of Fame DVD release. JBL's rants that "The Rock had been out of wrestling so long that he apparently forgot the two most important words in the wrestling business: Go home," and "The Rock was on stage for so long that Ric Flair, the Briscos and Undertaker have sobered up backstage," were all deleted.
Also The Rock's segment was moved from first on the show, and spliced in just before the Ric Flair induction.
- Despite being suspended for racial slurs, Smackdown writer Michael Hayes still has a big influence over the show. As well as what we previously reported (about Hayes still keeping in contact via email) Dave Meltzer is also reporting that replacement Ed Koskey is trying to keep most of Michael Hayes' original plans in motion. The general feeling is that Hayes will just be brought back with no further inquest or punishment.
