WWE Judgment Day: Undertaker Vs. Edge
World Heavyweight Championship Match
The Undertaker vs. Edge
Edge entered the ring first followed by the Undertaker. Undertaker had the advantage early but went for old school, but Edge knocked the Undertaker out of the ring while he was walking the top rope.
Edge dominated the next several minutes, working over the Undertaker's legs. The Undertaker went for the gogoplata chokehold, but the referee quickly waved him off and Taker let it go. Edge then went for old school, but Taker knocked him down. Undertaker hit old school a few minutes later and went to hit Edge with the tombstone but Ryder and Hawkins came to ringside and distracted the ref. Edge removed the padding from one of the turnbuckles.
Edge and Undertaker exchanged some holds before Edge hit a DDT and got a two count. Edge then sidestepped a spear from Edge and then powerbombed Edge into the corner and got a two count before Edge put his foot on the ropes. Undertaker then went for snake eyes on the exposed turnbuckle, but Edge countered. After a couple more counters, Undertaker hit snake eyes on Edge on the exposed turnbuckle. Taker slowly got to his feet, but as he charged at Edge, Edge was able to hit a spear and got a two count.
A couple of minutes later the Undertaker hit a big chokeslam on Edge, but again was only able to get a two count. Taker kicked Edge out of the ring and then clotheslined Edge over the barrier, sending both men into the crowd. Both struggled back to the ring, but Undertaker got there first to seemingly win the vacated world title via countout. Just as the announcement was about to be made, Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero came down to ringside. It took her a minute to start talking because of the boos from the fans. When she finally was able to speak, she noted that a title could not change hands on a countout so the World Heavyweight Title remains vacant. After the announcement, Undertaker grabbed Edge and gave him a tombstone.
Winner via countout: The Undertaker, the World Heavyweight Title Remains Vacant
