Kelly Kelly's Fake Injury, Father Finlay, Miz/Girls, & More News
Kelly Kelly wrestled on SmackDown/ECW's tour Down Under, so you'd have to think she's fine now in WWE world. Her injury on last Tuesday's was a work. WWE.com posted a thumbnail image of Kelly Kelly smiling and looking perfectly fine on the front page of the site linking to the tour photo gallery. You can see her photo at WWE.com. The website and the creative team sometimes aren't on the same page, so it should be interesting to see if the announcers make note of Kelly's apparent TV injury on this week's shows when there is a photo of her looking perfectly fine on WWE.com. According to the spoiler reports, Kelly does not appear on ECW nor SmackDown this week.
SLAM! Wrestling has an article on the father of SmackDown wrestler Finlay, David Finlay Sr., who was an amateur wrestling champion in England during the 60s and 70s. WWE.com also has an image of a "Father's Day Card" Hornswoggle gave to Finlay, which looks like it was made by a 6-year-old.
There is an in-character article on The Miz bragging about all the Australian women throwing themselves at him. "I can't help that women want to talk to me. What really gets annoying is when they just start throwing themselves on me. Give me some sort of challenge." The Miz explained. "Ladies, expect to get really blushy-faced and really turned on when you see me [in Australia] because I'm much better looking in person than I am on TV.".
