News On The Rock, Booker T Vs. Raven, Batista, SD!/ECW, More

NWE in Bilbao, Spain on Friday drew roughly 4500 fans and saw Booker T defeat Raven. The next night in San Sebastian, Spain, Booker T & Kishi teamed up to beat Vampire Warrior, Brett Idol, & E-Clipse.

Get Smart featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson fell to #3 in its second weekend, earning $20 million to raise its total gross to $77.2 million

WWE.com is plugging Batista's supposed appearance as a celebrity commentator for VH1's I Love the New Millennium show. To my knowledge, he didn't appear on any of the shows, so it would appear that his commentary was left on the Cutting room floor. On the other hand, Chris Jericho is featured in the mini-series a number of times, and WWE.com isn't promoting him.

WWE.com has updated their touring schedule and they are now listing SmackDown/ECW shows through the start of September. Beforehand, they had the shows listed as Raw/ECW shows starting on August 1 with SmackDown going solo. The first Raw/ECW house show is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 12 in Texarkana, Arkansas. The final SmackDown/ECW show is a taping scheduled for September 9 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
