TNA has announced new live events – 7/19 in Monroe, LA and 7/20 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The 5/29 edition of TNA iMPACT! drew a final 0.94 cable rating. This is down from last week's 1.0 rating.
TNA officials are looking to add some new talent to the roster. Two names that have come up are former WWE stars Joey Mercury and Johnny Parisi a.k.a. Johnny Swinger. Their names have come up several times, but management has yet to pull the trigger on them. Mercury worked a dark match before last year's Bound For Glory pay-per-view, but nothing came out of it. TNA road agent Pat Kenney a.k.a. Simon Diamond has been pitching for Swinger to come in. Swinger & Kenney used to be tag partners in ECW and TNA. Speaking of Kenney, he turned 40 years old last Monday.
Kurt Angle is looking to launch an acting career. As of late, he has been spending a lot of time auditioning for various acting roles.
