WWE Press Conference Today, Legends Returning?, More

This afternoon, World Wrestling Entertainment will be holding a press conference at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Aside from revealing new details regarding the "Million Dollar Mania" contest, WWE.com has promised a "blockbuster announcement" that will make history. If you're unable to attend the press conference in person, it will be streamed live on WWE.com 3PM Eastern (12PM Pacific).

There are currently two big title matches confirmed for WWE's upcoming Night of Champions pay-per-view. Triple H will defend the WWE title against John Cena and Kane will defend the ECW title against The Big Show. Due to the fact that his eye is still swollen shut from an injury sustained at One Night Stand, Big Show will be undergoing an MRI this week so his status in the ECW title match could change. WWE is expected to continue the tradition of bringing back previous WWE champions for cameos.

As noted yesterday here on the site, for William Regal a third strike could be a very costly one. Regal is not a US citizen and if he would get a third strike and lose his job there would be a chance he would not be able to stay in the country. Some feel TNA would take him, but there are not any guarantees in the wrestling business. He is looked at as a good worker, but more importantly a great teacher, which most feel would make him very valuable to TNA.
