Backstage Russo Notes, Kozlov Impresses Management, Lots More

According to new reports, there is said to be more of an internal vote of confidence in Vince Russo right now within TNA. This shouldn't be taken as Russo having picked up more power within the company, although sources have indicated he has at times.

Alex Kozlov was said to have gotten rave reviews within TNA when he was used for the recent World X Cup Tournament as part of Team International. Kozlov, who currently competes for the CMLL promotion, isn't expected to be signed due to TNA's renewed relationship with the promotion as it is considered off limits to sign anyone from there right now.

To update on the change within TNA of Bob Ryder taking over for Bill Behrens in booking TNA talent outside of the company for independent promotions, priorities are said to be much different now then they were before. One of the main reasons TNA got into booking its talent with other independent and foreign shows was because they needed the money. As things stand right now from a financial standpoint TNA is doing much better and this area is being re-evaluated, especially after Mickie "Moose" Knuckles suffered a broken leg working an indy show in front of roughly only 60 people.
