Carlito Misses SD! Tapings, HHH/Hardy Problems, Flair, Chavo

Carlito missed Tuesday night's Smackdown/ECW taping because he had to fly out to Santiago, Chile for the Raw brand's tour of South America, which started yesterday. Prior to his switch from Smackdown, he did publicity in the market promoting yesterdays show. Also, there was a lot of negative local publicity in Lima, Peru with the promoters being upset that they built all of their promotion around Triple H coming to the country as the big star, and then being told that he wasn't coming due to the draft move. The feeling is that WWE should have told the promoters in advance and given them the courtesy of building up others as the big attractions of the tour. WWE pacified the promoters by sending SmackDown stars Carlito, Triple H and Jeff Hardy on the tour. Both Triple H and Jeff Hardy are currently en route for tonight's show in Peru, and will head back home afterward.

Ric Flair will be holding an autograph signing on Saturday, September 27 in Fairless Hills, PA at the Bucks County Technical High School.

ECW wrestler Chavo Guerrero is currently involved in a national ad campaign promoting Hair Transplant Replacement Surgery for MedicalHairRestoration.com. He's been involved with the company since at least last year as a "Medical Hair Restoration All-Star," but the company only started featuring him in their national campaign a few weeks ago. A commercial promoting the product featuring a "before and after" shot of Chavo has been airing on ESPN Classic and some other television networks. "Before and after" images of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart also appear in the commercial. Some ad banners featuring Chavo's trademark likeness are currently running on Yahoo.com.
