Sgt. of Traffic Safety Bureau for Costa Mesa Police Department, Victor Bakkila, has issued a statement regarding the behavior of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson after his arrest for felony evading, reckless driving and hit and run charges: "[Quinton] was cooperative with us from his arrest to him being released." Rampage was released on $25,000 bail and has a court date set for August 15. Also, TMZ.com reports that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has been picked up by police again. Around 4:30 PM yesterday, friends who were hanging out with Rampage, waved down a police car after they became worried about his behavior. This, of course, following the insane chase the day before in which the UFC fighter hit several cars in his monster truck and was arrested at gunpoint. The police saw Rampage, deemed him a danger to himself and others, and took him to a hospital for observation. He was very cooperative with police. Police officers would not officially confirm if it's a psychiatric hold.
