Updated WWE/MSG Card Inside, Possible Storyline Plans, More

After the slew of draft moves & title changes, the official website of Madison Square Garden has updated the card for the Raw brand house show on Saturday, August 23. In what could be an indication of things to come, CM Punk will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Batista in the main event. And could a Kane heel turn be in the works? In another interesting match-up, Kane will be challenging the babyface of all babyfaces, Kofi Kingston, for his Intercontinental Championship. It also looks like Cryme Tyme is back in the tag team title hunt. They will be challenging Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes for their World Tag Team Championships. Two other matches advertised include John Cena vs. JBL in a Steel Cage Match and Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels. Santino Marella, Mickie James, Paul London and several others are also scheduled to wrestle on the show.

Showtime – 8 pm. Featuring from Super Stars from RAW – John Cena vs. JBL in a RAW Special Challenge Match, Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho, CM Punk vs. Kane in a World Heavyweight Championship Match, Mickie James vs. Katie Lea, in the Women's Championship Match.
