WWE Very High On Deuce, Murdoch's WWE Release Update, More

Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

  • WWE Management is said to be very high on Deuce, who was drafted to RAW in the Supplemental Draft. He's scheduled to be repackaged in a new gimmick and should at least get a chance to show what he can do on RAW. However, some of the road agents are skeptical on plans to push him because the feeling is that he isn't very good in singles matches. They feel he has some charisma, but his wrestling ability and timing in the ring is well below average. On the other hand, Domino is on the copping block.
  • Dusty Rhodes pushed to bring Trevor Murdoch to SmackDown last year because he and others recognized his talent. After finally being moved to SmackDown in the Supplemental Draft, the feeling was that Murdoch was going to be better off on the blue brand with Michael Hayes booking him instead of Brian Gewirtz, who didn't do too much with him on Raw. That's obviously off the cards now due to his sudden release from the company last Thursday. Still no word yet on why Murdoch was released, although a number of people were said to be mildly surprised. I'm guessing he did something pretty bad to get himself fired. On another note, his profile page has been removed from WWE.com.
  • WWE.com is doing something called "Summer Skin" featuring a number of the WWE Divas. It's basically new photos of them on the beach, plus videos and a article. A total of 17 WWE Divas will be spotlighted every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer in the following order: Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Candice Michelle, Kelly Kelly, Jillian Hall, Maryse, Katie Lea, Victoria, Melina, Natalya Neidhart, Lena Yada, Beth Phoenix, Layla, Lilian Garcia, Eve Torres, Cherry, and Maria. Ashley Massaro didn't take part in the shoot, and Tiffany & Alicia Fox have yet to be considered "WWE Divas." The first Diva featured is Michelle McCool.
