Backstage Angle Injury Footage, Lesnar/UFC, iMPACT!, & More
phillyphan12 sent this in: Hey guys thought you would be interested in this bit of news...I`m from Philadelphia and Kurt Angle appeared on Thursday's episode of Daily News Live (a weekday sports show) and had a solid 10-15 minutes on the show. He came off very well and I was impressed considering the way people talk about how crazy he`s become...He went over his Olympic appearance in `96 and how he won the gold, saying it was his superior conditioning that got him the medal. He talked about how after winning gold he had no where to go in his amateur career and that seeing the Rock and Stone Cold interact with the audience the way they did inspired him to become a professional wrestler, so he could finally show emotion and connect with the crowd while competing...Finishes off by plugging the upcoming TNA PPV in Trenton.
Speaking of Angle, TNA's website has backstage footage of him getting stitched up following the iMPACT! taping that aired last night on Spike TV when he was busted open after taking a shot by a ladder that you can view at TNAWrestling.com. It'd really graphic footage.
John O'Brien sent this in: Just thought I'd pass this link along about Brock Lesnar and his UFC match this weekend. Very little in the way of wrestling, especially his WWE days, is mentioned...but still, thought people might be interested in reading this story from the St Paul Pioneer.
