Huge Evening Update: Mr. Kennedy, ECW, RAW, Taker, HHH, More

Here is a breakdown for the latest WWE television ratings: ECW on Sci Fi on 8/19 drew a final 1.5 cable rating with 1.9 million viewers. This was back up from the 1.2 rating the show drew last week (the lowest rating in a few months) and they have maintained a much larger audience since the draft. WWE Monday Night Raw on 8/18 drew a final 3.3 cable rating (or 3.31) with both hours doing a 3.26 and 3.36. The first hour drew around 4.8 million viewers, while the second hour drew around 5 million viewers. WWE Friday Night Smackdown on 8/15 drew a final 2.4 broadcast rating. John Silva sent this in: Just got an email response from the WWE themselves that the "rerun" of Wrestlemania XXIV on MyNetwork TV for October 2nd will NOT be the full show. I asked them if it would be the full show (which if you think about it would kind of be hard when you factor in that it was a four-hour show) or if it was a highlight show. They have informed me that it will indeed be a highlight show. Here is the email and official response: "It will only be highlights. Thanks for your email."

Devin Cutting sent this in: The Spokane Arena is advertising The Undertaker & Triple H verses The Great Khali & MVP as the main event of the Smackdown & ECW taping in Spokane, Washington on October 7th, 2008. Tickets go on sale September 13th, 2008 at 10 AM.

OSUSNOWMAN sent this in: Colt Toombs, Pipers' son, is making his MMA debut here in Portland at Sportfight 24, kind of cool.

Big James Field sent this in: I just went out and bought the new SoulCaliber 4 game. As I was playing I noticed a strange likeness. The character Brock on the game carries a sledgehammer as a weapon. In one view of using him he has something on his head so that you can't see his face. In the other view he looks like Triple H. Everyone I have showed it to has said the same thing. It's weird but I thought I would pass it along.

WWE.com has a video clip up from the new WWE "The Life & Times of Mr. Perfect" DVD looking at his run as Intercontinental Champion.
