ImPACT Drug Testing WWE Stars, WWE VP's Get Stock Grants, Batista
The name of the company that oversees the WWE Talent Wellness Program is called ImPACT. The NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS and NCAA use ImPACT's Concussion Management Program. WWE recently sent letters to 500 current and former talents offering them free trips to rehab if they had major substance-abuse issues. Thus far, a dozen former WWE performers had accepted the offer. WWE has also set up a 24-hour hotline with more information regarding their program. It continues to receive calls regularly.
SLAM! Wrestling has plans to interview Dave Batista in Montreal this weekend. They wrote: "Have a unique or creative question for "The Animal"? Send them to Kenai at kenai.andrews@gmail.com marked "Batista Montreal Interview" in the subject line and Kenai will ask as many as he can. Remember, the more unique the question, the better chance it will be asked! Don't forget to include your name e.g. J. Doe or Jane D. and your location e.g. Atlanta, Georgia."
All of the WWE Senior Vice Presidents got stock grants this past week. Kevin Dunn currently owns $2.03 million in WWE stock, while John Laurinatis owns $739,000 in WWE stock.
