Last night's Florida Championship Wrestling show was reportedly the second official television taping, which is scheduled to air on the CW Affiliate in Tampa, Florida, at least according to the FCW people. In perhaps a dream pairing, Beth Phoenix and Natalya Neidhart teamed up to defeat The Bella Twins in the main event of the show. It was announced at last night's show that D-Lo Brown will be next week's special guest. Vladimir Koslov also worked a match, defeating Kafu.
The start time for tomorrow night's Raw brand house sin Peoria, IL at the Peoria Civic Center has been changed from 7:30 p.m. to the new time of 5:00 p.m.
As noted yesterday here on the site, both Televisa and TV Azteca out of Mexico rejected Shane McMahon's proposition to put WWE programming on their respective networks — which likely would have resulted in the local promotions getting booted off. Instead, WWE signed a deal with cable channel TVC Deportes, which will air Raw live starting on Monday, October 6. TVC Deportes is the Mexican equivalent to ESPN, while Televisa & TV Azteca are like big network stations such as NBC & CBS.
As noted earlier, Layla was given a few weeks off to take care of her ailing mother, who unexpectedly passed away this past week. She went overseas to take care of her mother's funeral. Layla should be back relatively soon, perhaps in a week or two.
