Major SD! Editing, Tons Of 'Who Is Suicide' News, Loads More Inside

Steve Knight sent this in: The first showing of Smackdown in the UK on Friday, which aired at a post-watershed time of 10pm, did not contain any of the final segment of the night involving Edge and Vickie Guerrero. Instead we were shown three lengthy video packages on Shawn Michaels' injury, the Batista vs. John Cena feud and The Undertaker vs. Edge feud. It's not unusual for episodes of Smackdown to be edited when they are shown during the day, but it's definitely strange for a show that ended at midnight.

To follow up on this, WWE was made aware of this edit ahead of time by Sky Sports as they sent the extra footage to be aired at the end. There reportedly was a complaint about Edge dumping Vickie Guerrero out of her wheelchair last week.

Austin Buckner sent this in: This is only me thinking out loud, but I was watching some trailers for the new TNA iMPACT! video game and noticed that the character you start as is a masked character named Suicide. Your character is ran out of TNA and is forced to change his image. The "WhoIsSuicide" storyline TNA is featuring on iMPACT on Spike TV could be a way to hype up the release of the game.

Edward Baker sent this in: I just thought I would point this out to you guys. From IGN.com's TNA iMPACT Video Game page: "After entering the name of your would-be champion, you're treated to an extended movie featuring a brawler named Suicide — if you choose to create the guy in Story Mode and not in the straight-up character creator from the main menu. Apparently, Suicide was the greatest thing since sliced bread in TNA and was tearing the federation apart. After it was announced Suicide would get a title shot, LAX popped up and demanded he throw the match. Suicide says "Screw that," wins the title, and LAX pounds the crap out of him. The chosen one wakes up completely bandaged in Mexico and without his memory. Thankfully, Mexico has so many pro bono plastic surgeons that the hospital offers to reconstruct the injured man in any way he sees fit." Here's the link if it helps any: click here.

Grim sent this in: Hey, I saw your bit on the site about that 'whoissuicide' thing on TNA Impact. I was reading up on the TNA video game recently and according to IGN.com when you play through the game in the story mode you start your career as a wrestler named 'Suicide'. You're eventually jumped by LAX and wake up in Mexico with amnesia with plastic surgeons changing your looks (the character creation part), which is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard...but whatever the case, thought I'd send that along.

Rocky Jimenez sent this in: If I remember correctly, Suicide was the character originally planned out for play in "TNA's IMPACT: The Video Game" in the story mode. It even sounds like the same character, with the whole being beaten down and given a surgery. I may be wrong, but this may be hype for the new game.
