Rob Van Dam, Goldberg, & Bobby Lashley To TNA?, Backstage Details

As posted earlier due to a report by TNAWrestlingNews.com, several big names could be jumping ship between WWE and TNA in the coming months while other stars could be making returns. Three big return names to watch for are Rob Van Dam, Goldberg, and Bobby Lashley.

Van Dam has worked sparingly since leaving WWE and although TNA has expressed interest in him, the door is open for a WWE return. One would think that a big factor in Van Dam committing to any kind of deal would be his wife's battle with cancer and he probably wouldn't get into anything serious until she beats the disease. I can tell you that Rob is going to be heading to Spain pretty soon here to take part in several NWE shows.

Goldberg is also looking to return and I'd expect it to be over there with NWE as well. Goldberg will NOT be headed to WWE or TNA so don't get your hopes up. Bill actually can't stand Vince after his last run with WWE which turned out to be a disaster. TNA may have a shot at landing him in the future but his money figures are said to be WAY high according to TNAWrestlingNews.com sources.

TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that there is said to be more positive talk within TNA right now about Bobby Lashley than ever before. TNAWrestlingNews.com is also reporting that it is well known backstage among the boys that Kurt Angle and Booker T have tried to start the process to bring Lashley in. Those three guys are all really good friends from their WWE days and have kept in touch.

It's not likely that Lashley would return to WWE anytime soon as there would be some bad blood between the two. There was an issue with his real-life girlfriend (Kristal) when she was released over not wanting to do a storyline and some other backstage stuff that pissed him off pretty good. No word yet on how Lashley's MMA career is going or what his motivations are, but him getting into the sport didn't generate much attention mainly because he hooked up with a smaller MMA promotion.

Please keep in mind that none of these three names are at all confirmed to be returning or debuting with WWE or TNA. Stuff like this is how rumors get started when people start claiming 'RVD & Goldberg are going to TNA' in forums and on other sites. I'm always hesitant to report stuff like this because then people claim that what we report is wrong or is inaccurate. I try very hard to only report what I've heard from sources and think I do a pretty good job in getting most of the stories I report correct.
