TNA will be holding TV tapings tonight and Wednesday in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios. Scheduled for tonight's taping to air this Thursday on Spike TV is TNA World Champion Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash vs. Team 3D, Kurt Angle has a special challenge for AJ Styles, Hernandez vs. James Storm, Christian Cage & Rhino vs. The Rock N' Rave Infection, TNA Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde vs. Christy Hemme, the latest "Karen's Angle" with The Beautiful People, Matt Morgan in action plus, "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir.
WWE will be taping Friday Night Smackdown and ECW on Sci Fi tonight in Norfolk, Virgina. Nothing has been announced for Smackdown except for the fallout from last week's show with Edge taking out La Familia and the build to this Sunday's SummerSlam PPV. Announced for tonight's ECW on Sci Fi is ECW Champion Mark Henry & Matt Hardy vs. John Morrison & The Miz.
As reported yesterday, John Cena reportedly caused a scene at the Wildwood Barbecue on Park Avenue in New York according to a report in the New York Post. A group of 30 women reportedly begged Cena for photos and he bought a round of beer for them. At the end of the night, Cena ended up buying beer for every table in the place and it was described as a madhouse.
John Morrison, The Miz, WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and Victoria will be at the Main Street Stage on Saturday from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Indiana State Fair to help promote SummerSlam.
Genius Products, which does DVDs with WWE, posted an $11.7 million loss in the last quarter due to restructuring and costs assocated with investing in video games.
