Steve Austin/WWE HOF Update, Go Shiozaki Gets WWE Tryout, More

If "Stone Cold" Steve Austin decides to wrestle once again at Wrestlemania next year in Houston, TX, there has been talk of Austin being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before. We'll see where this goes but I'd never say never when it comes to Austin wrestling one more big match. I know he'd be up for it if everything were right.

I just wanted to remind you that RAW won't air live on Monday night as they are doing a double taping tomorrow (Sunday) in St. Louis, MO for both RAW on 9/1 and Smackdown on 9/5 due to touring. ECW is already taped for this upcoming week and spoilers are on the newsboard, although pretty far down now due to all the recent news. Expect to hear reports of Randy Orton being backstage at St. Louis show (as long as he's in town) but he will likely not appear live.

Lita's The Luchagors will be performing on Sunday in Atlanta, GA at Drive Invasion @ the Starlight Six Drive-In Theatre.

I can report that Pro Wrestling NOAH star Go Shiozaki (who also works for Ring of Honor often), had a tryout dark match before this past Monday's RAW and defeated Carlito in less than three minutes. That shows you what they still think of Carlito these days. WWE apparently has no interest in him after seeing him work the match. I can actually confirm that Vince McMahon said to an agent/producer backstage that he was "Too Asian". This is of course great news for ROH fans who really love this guys work. He's an amazing talent and appears for ROH regularly.

Mike Rotunda's son Windham Rotunda is listed as the back up center for Troy University in Alabama. Rotunda's son is 6'2" and 295 lbs. He is considering a wrestling career after his football playing days are over. Mike Rotunda works for World Wrestling Entertainment as an agent.
