WWE Releases New Ashley Merchandise, Khali Street Fight, More
Macon.com has a story on an upcoming "Georgia Street Fight" match between Triple H and The Great Khali at a SmackDown brand house show this Monday night at the Macon Coliseum in Macon, Georgia. The headline of the story reads "Rags-to-riches wrestlers to meet in Georgia Street Fight." Regarding Triple H's "rags-to-riches" tale, they wrote, "At one turnbuckle stands Triple H. In truth, Triple H is Hunter Hearst-Hemsley, a champion who maintains a narrative that parallels the Horatio Alger myth, the no-holds-barred equivalent to the classic rags-to-riches ascent."
WWEShop.com has just released a new piece of merchandise featuring former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro. They released a cell phone pouch featuring her image on the shop website earlier in the week.
Kai sent this in: Just to let you know, TNA has revealed "Shark Boy" as another wrestler for the iMPACT! Video Game. And even though Tomko's release, it looks like he will still be appearing on the game, as he was one of the original 17 that was announced quite some time ago.
Photos of the TNA stars working for CMLL are now up at TNAWrestling.com.
I'll be at the Ring of Honor Hammerstein Ballroom show in New York City tomorrow. It should be decent and I'll have a report when I get back. It's about a three-hour drive from the city back to Albany so I don't expect to be back up here until about 3A.M. My thoughts will likely be up on Sunday afternoon.
