Albany, NY Signature Pharmacy Case Thrown Out Today

The Signature Pharmacy case, which led to many WWE suspensions in August 2007, was thrown out by Albany, NY County Judge Stephen Herrick earlier today.

The judge faulted how prosecutors presented the case to the Grand Jury and threw out indictments against owners Robert Loomis and Noami Loomis, pharmacist Michael Loomis and business managers Kirk Calvert and Anthony Palladino. Judge Herrick blamed the government's quote "amorphous quality of the evolving indictments" and inadequate instructions to the people on the grand jury.

This was the top story in the news today here in Albany, NY. D.A David Soares also spoke on camera and said they will appeal and take it to the appellate courts.
