Former WCW Star To WWE, McCool/WWE, 'Triple H/Hardy, More

For those who missed our report over the weekend, WWE has hired former WCW star Norman Smiley, 43, to be a trainer at their Florida Championship Wrestling developmental facility. He recently relocated from Miami to Tampa for the job. Smiley started last week. The other trainers in FCW are Tom Prichard, Billy Kidman and Steve Keirn.

Michelle McCool's match with Maryse at Unforgiven last night was actually her first WWE Divas title defense since winning the gold nearly two months ago. It's also interesting to note that the Divas Champion is nowhere to be found on the Power 25 rankings on WWE.com whereas Natalya and Maryse are listed. Natalya is ranked No. 17 and Maryse is ranked No. 23.

Following his win in SmackDown's Championship Scramble match, Eve Torres conducted a backstage interview with Triple H. Triple H said although he didn't win the title, Jeff Hardy has won his respect. He said if Jeff Hardy wants a title shot, he can get it. Triple H also said the match was one of the hardest of his career.
