Amazon.com has plans to release a DVD set on Kane on Tuesday, December 9, 2008. According to the product page on Amazon.com, the DVD set is tentatively titled "Best of Kane." It's scheduled to be a three-disc set.

As reported earlier, WWE has plans to a release a DVD set on Edge on Tuesday, December 23. The description on Amazon.com says it's a three-disc set, however, I forget to point out that the run time for the DVD set is listed at 360 minutes, which would make it six hours over two discs. It also lists the number of discs in the DVD set as being two. CDUniverse.com also has a listing for the Edge DVD and it says it's going to contain two discs.

During the commercial break on Raw in which John Bradshaw Layfield decided to sit on a chair, new WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler introduced himself to JBL. WWE.com has posted an exclusive video of the encounter.

ECW on Sci Fi on 9/9 drew a final 1.3 cable rating with 1.7 million viewers.

WWE Monday Night Raw on 9/8 drew a final 3.0 cable rating with 4.43 million viewers. Overall homes was up, but total viewership was down from the Labor Day show. This was the first week going up against Monday Night Football as numbers typically drop 10% when that starts up. We saw how badly the show was hurt this week drawing a 2.6 rating which is horrible news for the company.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown on 9/5 drew a final 2.4 broadcast rating. That was considered a strong number with the show being preempted in the New York market and airing on Saturday instead.
