Natalya/Punk Attend Party, Mickie At Hooters, SD! Spoilers, Kennedy, Lots More
The Score in Canada had a street party last night to kick off the opening of their new HD studio. WWE Diva Natalya Neidhart was there but didn't get much of a reaction except when she mentioned Jim Neidhart, Bret Hart and The Hart Foundation. She didn't come off that well and was followed by The Iron Sheik. CM Punk was the last wrestling guest out before the musical performances and he said being World Heavyweight Champion was great and wanted to thank the fans in Canada because he knows ratings went up in Canada when he won the belt and that means a lot to him. Punk came off very well and the crowd was into him more. He also gave a replica WWE Title belt to the winner of a contest.
WWE Diva Mickie James will be appearing at Hooters in downtown Minneapolis, MN on Monday, September 29th from 11am until 1pm. WWE will tape RAW from the Target Center in Minneapolis later that night.
Several readers sent word that the "I Dare You" song that WWE is using for SmackDown's new home on MyNetworkTV was also used for WWE's WrestleMania 22 pay-per-view.
If you didn't realize, the SmackDown tapings that took place last night and airs this Friday night will be the show's final broadcast on the CW Network.
Ken Kennedy's "Behind Enemy Lines – Colombia" made for DVD movie will be released officially on 1/6/09.
The forthcoming issue also features a look at the roster of WWE developmental Florida Championship Wrestling with profiles in several talents including Jake Hager (Jack Swagger), Afa Jr. (Manu) and not one but both Bella Twins, so they inadvertently gave away a Smackdown spoiler.
