WWE/TNA News: Low TNA Turnout, Suicide Angle, Grisham Update, SD!, More
? According to a fan in attendance, TNA drew approximately 500 fans to last Saturday's house show at the BankUnited Center, which is the 8,000-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of Miami. TNA didn't fare too much better the next day at the Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, Florida as the show drew approximately 600 fans in a 10,000 seat venue. Both shows featured Samoa Joe vs. Booker T in the main event.
? The WhoIsSuicide.com website has been updated with a new graphic as well as a promo video that recently aired on Impact. Text on the page reads: "THE TIME IS DRAWING NEAR..."
? TNA will be running house shows this weekend in the Northeast in Lowell, Massachusetts (Friday), Glens Falls, New York (Saturday) and Plattsburg, New York (Sunday).
? While a reason is not known, WWE has stopped publishing official previews for their weekly television shows on the official website.
? Todd Grisham will return as the play-by-play announcer on ECW tonight. Grisham, who missed last week due to personal issues, returned to work at last night's Raw taping.
? Reader Sean sent this in... I just thought I would give a quick tidbit of information. My Network TV here in Rhode Island and Parts of Connecticut and Massachusetts is shown on Fox Channel 11 and they will not be broadcasting Smackdown until 11:30 PM on Friday nights on a regular basis. So with this being a big wrestling area I'm sure that might affect the ratings I would assume. Well thank you for your time and I love the site.
