Abyss Burned Last Night, Jarrett's Part-Time TNA Schedule, Traci, More
SLAM! Wrestling has an article on Jeff Jarrett, who wrestled in his first match last night since May 2007. Jarrett talks about his wife Jill passing away last year following her bout with cancer. "I miss her now more than ever. Here we are, it's taken some (17 months) later ... It's taken me that long to focus and to really want to step into the ring again," says Jarrett. "I'm curious on one hand and nervous on the other. But I'm anxious to get in there, too." Jarrett notes that he'd like TNA to hold more shows in Canada following the success of No Surrender last month in Oshawa, Ontario. "More shows in Canada are definitely an option as TNA grows," says Jarrett. "Canadian fans are so educated and respectful of the art. The wrestling roots in Canada are so strong ... Maple Leaf Gardens, Stampede Wrestling ..." Jarrett says don't expect him to be a "regular" in TNA as he can't handle the wrestling schedule anymore. "For me to even consider a full-time wrestling schedule would be insane," Jarrett says. "My family and the business side remain a priority."
TNA Knockout Traci Brooks is selling a pair of ring-worn boots on eBay, which she wore during a Christmas gimmick match last year, as well as for a photo shoot.
Abyss suffered burns to his arm during the Monster's taking the flaming table spot last night as they didn't completely cover him with the fire extinguisher afterwards. There was WAY too much lighter fluid on that table anyways.
