Lesnar-Sable Update, Eddie Guerrero's 41st B-Day, Umaga Correction

As noted Thursday here on the website, the lawsuit filed by the parents of the late Nancy Benoit (n?e Toffoloni) against Hustler over the printing of photos of Nancy taken 25 years ago when she was 19 years old has been dismissed. The judge ruled that the photos being published fell under Freedom of the Press as her murder was "a legitimate matter of public interest and concern." The judge said the magazine had the right to publish the pictures — even if the pics were "offensive and distasteful." Also, her family is still considering filing a wrongful death suit against World Wrestling Entertainment. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has a story on the ruling, which you can read at AJC.com.

Brock Lesnar's UFC fight against Heath Herring last August will be replayed as part of Spike TV's airing of UFC 87 tomorrow night at 9:00 p.m. Wife and former WWE Diva Rena "Sable" Lesnar was briefly shown on camera during Lesnar's match, so you should be able to catch her during the Spike TV airing.

Thursday was Eddie Guerrero's birthday, who would have turned 41 years old. Boy it's hard not to miss good ole' Eddie.

As reported earlier, Umaga made his in-ring return at last night's Florida Championship Wrestling show. He actually didn't wrestle, but rather, did a run-in. Black Pain pinned Trent Baretta (Greg Marasciulo) and Umaga came out to confront Black Pain after the match. Pain left the ring and Umaga beat up Baretta instead.
