Melina's WWE Return Confirmed, Candice Michelle Update, WWE Divas, More

WWE.com has announced that the WWE Divas will be competing in a Divas Halloween Costume Contest at Cyber Sunday. Divas scheduled to participate in this year's contest include: WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool, WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix, Brie Bella, Candice Michelle, Eve Torres, Jillian Hall, Katie Lea Burchill, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Lena Yada, Maria, Maryse, Melina, Mickie James, Natalya, Tiffany, Victoria. Mickie James won last year's contest. Voting takes place on WWE.com during Cyber Sunday, but only after all of the Divas have shown their costumes.

Cyber Sunday will be Melina's first WWE appearance since the WWE Draft show on the June 23 Raw in which she injured her ankle when she fell from the turnbuckle in a match. Her appearance at Cyber Sunday will not mark as her permanent return to WWE as she still hasn't fully healed from the injury. Jim Ross noted in a recent blog that she's not due to return to the ring until January 2009.

Candice Michelle has posted a new blog on the Go Daddy site. She talks about it being great that she's back in the ring and for Beth Phoenix to watch out. On her match with Phoenix at No Mercy, Candice wrote:

"I gave Beth everything I had during this month's WWE No Mercy match, but she simply got the best of me. I did find out though that my shoulder is good to go and I WILL be back for MY title!"

Candice also said she's getting ready to shoot another commercial for Go Daddy which will "show a side of me you haven't seen before." Candice also ponders a possible commercial for the Super Bowl:

"Preparing for the commercial also has me wondering about the upcoming Super Bowl. I know it's early, but it's already time to start thinking about if Bob has anything in store for the Big Game in 2009. Hmmmmmmmm."

The St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame officially added six new members in its move to the South Broadway Athletic Club, which has been the site of local independent wrestling for more than 50 years. Jack Brisco, Dory Funk Jr., Joe Garagiola (the first voice of "Wrestling at the Chase"), Rocky Johnson, Buddy Rogers and long-time referee Lee Warren were all inducted into the Hall.
