More Jake Roberts Crazyness, Brett DiBiase/WWE, Backstage WWE News

? Brett DiBiase, the 20 year old brother of RAW's Ted DiBiase Jr., is now training in WWE's developmental territory at Florida Championship Wrestling. Brett started training only a short time ago and it looks like he's picking things up quickly.

? There will be some more wrestling-related viewing on Thursday night, in addition to the WrestleMania special, the magic show following it featuring Maria & Eve Torres, as well as TNA Impact featuring the Impact Zone debut of Mick Foley. Big Show is scheduled to appear on Attack of the Show on G4 this Thursday night at 7 p.m. The show replays at 1 a.m.

? WWE now has a "working relationship" with its former developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling. OVW is not being considered as an actual developmental territory at this point, but WWE will be sending Superstars there for occasional TV tapings and Six Flags show to help the promotion out so Danny Davis doesn't have to shut everything down. It's been getting harder to foot the bill for TV tapings and they've recently had to start taping OVW and Derby City TV on Wednesdays and charge $5 for admission. Timmy Baltimore, an announcer who was signed to a developmental deal, is also returning to OVW. His contract already expired with WWE and they chose not to re-sign him. Baltimore was sent to FCW after being hired and while some say he's good enough to be put right on WWE TV, he was forced to work as a bell ringer and doing other stuff for Dusty Rhodes in Tampa. Baltimore didn't get to announce a single time and basically told the company that if he knew that was what he would have been doing, then he would not have signed in the first place. According to one source, WWE is planning on signing one or two guys at the upcoming talent clinic in Florida Championship Wrestling and then tell the rest of the talents that try out to keep training in OVW or at Lance Storm's school and that they will "keep an eye on them."

? When the news came out about Jake "The Snake" Roberts falling off the wagon at an indy show in Cleveland on 9/19, another story came out from a promoter who ran a show the week before, on 9/12 in Martinsburg, WV. Promoter Josh Morningstar of Indy Pro Entertainment said they booked Jake for a show, picked him up at the airport and in figuring his sobriety was bulls–t, offered him some pot to smoke. Morningstar did an interview on 101 FM in Washington DC and said Jake turned down the pot, but asked if he could get some Vodka at the local liquor store and also indicated he would be interested in some cocaine. The promoter said by the time the show started, Roberts was wasted and cut a promo where he slurred his words and made no sense. The promoter also said Roberts went up to just about every black person he could find to ask them if they could score him some cocaine after the show.
