Nash/TNA News, BG James's Backstage TNA Role, iMPACT! Sales, More
? According to a report by TNAWrestlingNews.com, when Kevin Nash made comments to the "In Your Head" wrestling radio show that he had yet to sign a new deal with TNA, Nash was telling the truth. When he later signed a deal with the company, TNA decided to keep the story going to add surprise to his return at Bound For Glory. Of course, it wasn't much of a secret when news broke the day of the event that he was backstage. TNA wasn't trying to work the online fans with this situation as it was more Nash simply being honest and then once he had signed they decided to keep everything quiet. As we noted earlier, Nash had been in talks with WWE and really thought he would end up there before his wife talked him out of it. His wife actually had some great points and I'm glad Nash actually agreed with her points and wound up staying with TNA. She was 100% right on everything she told him about the travel, pain, hair dyeing, etc etc.
? TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that BG James is now working backstage for TNA as an agent for the company. Whether or not he is 100% done in the ring remains to be seen.
? TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that all industry estimates for the new "TNA iMPACT!" video game is that it under performed based on expectations. Publicly, TNA will say it was successful. However, those within the industry say they wouldn't be happy with the early estimates of the game selling 100,000 copies in North America and 200,000 worldwide. If those numbers are accurate then it would not be a successful launch of what was hoped to be a franchise product. More accurate numbers aren't expected to be released until the end of the month, but it is not expected to be figured into the top 50 sellers in the U.S.
? This is just a reminder that TNA will air LIVE tonight from Las Vegas, NV. This will be the first-ever TNA show in High Definition. As everyone knows, TNA is usually taped each week so tonight's LIVE show is something new and different. I'd give it a shot if you're a WWE fan and you've got nothing better to do tonight. They will likely go all out due to it being LIVE.
