? Bret Hart is winding down his U.S. book tour this week with a few more appearances. He's in Washington D.C. today for a book signing, and is scheduled to appear in Lake Buena Vista, Florida and the Mall Of America in Bloomington, MN later this week. ? TNA sent out the following announcement in regards to last night's benefit event in Nashville, TN that raised $98,000 for the KVB Sack Foundation: On Monday night, TNA Wrestling teamed with the NFL's Tennessee Titans for the special KVB Charity Birthday Brawl from the famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee. The live event (less than 24 hours after the Titans beat the Jaguars to remain undefeated!) featured a birthday party for Titans defensive star Kyle Vanden Bosch, including fellow Titans such as Albert Haynesworth, LenDale White, Keith Bulluck, Cortland Finnegan, Rob Bironas and Jevon Kearse. The show also saw the in-ring return of Titans great Frank Wycheck, facing his old nemesis "Cowboy" James Storm! In addition, the charity event raised over $98,000 for the KVB Sack Foundation, which is helping build two new learning centers for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Nashville. The check was presented to Vanden Bosch by TNA President Dixie Carter. Thanks to all of our loyal fans in the Nashville area that came out to enjoy the night of TNA action with the Tennessee Titans!
Yahoo! has released a teaser trailer for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's upcoming Disney flick, "Race To Witch Mountain." You can see the trailer at the following https://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1810007766/video/10713225/ which features a number of lines from Johnson himself. The film is a remake of the original 1975 film Escape to Witch Mountain.
? As mentioned in a previous post TNA UK Gladiators star Nick Aldis to a contract. Aldis worked some independents but didn't get much attention for that. When he was cast for Gladiators, it was discovered that he could cut a promo and became something of a star due to that. It is felt that TNA may try to use both Aldis and Doug Williams as a way to boost the upcoming UK tour.
