Cornette's TNA Future?, Foley/TNA Backstage News, Main Event Mafia Plans

? Since Mick Foley has come into the company, many of the "regular talent" have not been flown into Orlando for the iMPACT! tapings. The show is focusing on more interview time, and they are not needed. A lot of the regulars weren't even brought to Las Vegas for the live iMPACT! special.

? Jim Cornette was at the last TV tapings but never on camera, he was working as an agent backstage. Everyone backstage was putting over his work as an agent and it appears that this is where he will be used for now. With Jeff Jarrett, Mick Foley and Jim Cornette, it is felt that would be too many authority figures as TV characters, which is why the move was made. There is a possibility that Cornette could become a heel authority figure and feud with Foley.

? One of the drawbacks with the Main Event Mafia being the dominant angle in the company is that they will never be together as a group on house shows. Kurt Angle and Booker work a lot of the shows, and Steiner has in the past, but Sting will not be doing house shows. Kevin Nash isn't booked to do house shows although the belief is he's up for doing at least some. The thing there is that the lure of TNA for him has always been the TV's are a short drive from home, and he does very few dates on the road, just PPV and media days.
