Former TNA Wrestler Is Pissed Off, Gail Kim/WWE Update, More
Former TNA wrestler Johnny Devine is upset with an apparent cyberstalker impersonating him on the Internet and taking bookings for him, which he'd evidently no-show. The impersonator wrote the following to a promoter:
"I am writing in regards to your show this Friday, Nov. 14. i will be in the area for business and noticed you have a show the weekend I am in town. I have recently parted ways with TNA and can handle my own bookings once again. As reported on the Internet this week, I will be going to WWE come January and I would like to get in as much work before then. Seeing I will already be in the area I can do the show for $100 as it is short notice. Let me know if you are interested. Again, I apologize about the short notice it's something that just came up."
The apparent impersonator is going around telling people he's going to WWE in hopes of getting it out on the Internet. Of course, doing so would sabotage any shot he has in actually going to WWE.
Gail Kim released the following statement on her website:
"hey guys...Im in canada right now back home but i will be back by next week the latest to answer the latest questions in the ask gail section! of course nothing related to the obvious...im not gonna be answering any questions pertaining to my current career situation as chris and the other moderators have posted. just be patient and all your answers will one day be answered!"
Despite a commercial promoting an appearance from ECW Superstar Ricky Ortiz on the Sci Fi series "Cha$e" this past Tuesday following ECW, Ortiz did not appear at all during the episode.
