MVP's Losing Streak Continues, Was Phil Shatter Released By WWE?, Starrcade

? It was reported last week that WWE developmental wrestler Phil Shatter was back working indy dates in the Carolinas and that he may not be employed by WWE. I can now confirm that he is still employed, and WWE has given him permission to work indy shows until a spot in Florida Championship Wrestling opens up. They usually don't do this with signees, although they allowed Ron Killings to continue to work in Mexico after signing his WWE contract at the start of the year. I'll continue to keep you posted here on the website.

? Following his pinfall loss to The Great Khali in a squash match on last night's edition of SmackDown, Montel Vontavious Porter has lost thirteen consecutive television matches in a row, including thirteen clean pinfall losses. He's also lost on eleven consecutive editions of Friday Night SmackDown. Prior to his encounter with Khali, SmackDown General Vickie Guerrero informed MVP that he had until Survivor Series to earn his multi-million dollar signing bonus from his original contract, or else pay it back. Here is the updated "MVP Loss-A-Meter":
