Stephanie's New Look (Glasses), WWE Threatens Brutus, Hardy-Edge Angle

According to a post this morning on TMZ.com, World Wrestling Entertainment's legal team has sent former performer Ed Leslie a cease-and-desist letter requesting that he stop using his recognizable Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake ring name. WWE claims they own the trademark to the name and said Leslie stopped using it when he worked for World Championship Wrestling during the Nineties. Leslie's team of lawyers say he has been using the name since 2000 and that World Wrestling Entertainment has not taken any action until now. TMZ speculates that it could have something do with his role on Hulk Hogan's reality show, Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling, which currently airs on CMT. Leslie is a trainer on the reality show.

In an update on WWE's report of Jeff Hardy being "found unconscious" in a stairwell at his hotel in Boston today, the storyline explanation will be that Edge attacked Hardy in the stairwell and left him lying. Hardy is expected to work his title match at Survivor Series tonight and sell the injuries.

As seen on Raw last week, Stephanie McMahon wore glasses. For what it's worth, she does not wear the glasses backstage, so it's all part of her look for television.

Jill sent in the following... Just thought I'd let you guys know that the GIANT Center is advertising Raw on Dec. 26th, apparently a last minute addition to the WWE schedule. Anyway, they showed a promo which advertises Batista & Randy Orton to be there along with WWE Champion CHRIS JERICHO to defend the title in a fatal four way.
