InDemand has released the promotional poster for TNA's "Final Resolution" pay-per-view, which takes place next month on December 7th. It features a shot of the Main Event Mafia, including Scott Steiner, with a caption that reads, "Respect Is Earned." It's interesting to note that Booker T is holding his title, whereas Sting isn't holding his.
A TNA title made this week's Video Sales – Recreational Sports DVD chart on Billboard. In it's first week out, the TNA: Ultimate Matches made the chart at No. 7. You can see the complete chart at Billboard.com.
THQ held a media event this past week promoting SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 at the Florida Championship Wrestling headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Randy Orton, Jack Swagger and WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix discussed their experiences with the new video game and playing it. "This is my first time being in a video game. I did get a chance to play it. Actually, it was really cool, and the whole process was really neat for me to get scanned and to have THQ really work closely with us to make the likeness of our characters really, really great," Phoenix said. "I'll tell you I was really taken a back. It was just really, really cool to see how well they captured all the characters and to see my own for the first time was an amazing experience, one of the great perks of this job." Orton added, "I think creating your own finishing move is huge. That and creating your own character feature I think is pretty popular, too. My brother plays a lot of video games, and a lot of my friends play a lot of video games, and they end up really getting into it. The fact they can have their own finishing moves is huge to them, the gamers. For me, for instance, I have the RKO, but [THQ] added this year the kick to the head. Boom, so I've got two finishing moves. So I think that's huge."
