While it has been receiving award nominations and praise from critics most places, The Wrestler has not pleased the people of Iran. The Telegraph in the UK is reporting that due to the portrayal of an Iranian character in the film, that some are not happy with the film.
John Cena's next movie, 12 Rounds, will be released on March 13, 2009.
SilverVision in the UK has released the cover for the Saturday Night's Main Event DVD set.

WWE will be running shows in Budokan Hall in Japan on 7/7 and 7/8.
WWE has signed Memphis wrestler Bryon Wilcox to a developmental deal. Wilcox had gotten a week-long tryout in FCW in the past but wasn't signed then.
