Royal Rumble *SPOILER*?, TNA/WWE Ratings Breakdown, Kiyoshi

Ric Moore sent this in regarding a possible spoiler for the Royal Rumble World Title main event: I was watching my DVR over of this week's Raw and if you watch the Royal Rumble commercial 7 out of the 8 superstars competing to go on to the fatal 4 way next Monday were in the commercial hyping the Royal Rumble Match itself. The only man missing from that commercial was of course Chris Jericho.

? Devin Cutting sent this in: WWE returns to the Sundome in Yakima, Washington on February 7th, 2009. Tickets go on sale January 10th, 2009 at 10 AM. This will be the first WWE event in Yakima since February of 2007.

? It was reported on Saturday that the 12/18 edition of TNA iMPACT! last week drew a 1.0 cable rating. It is now being reported that show actually did a 1.2 cable rating (or a 1.17) with 1.6 million viewers.

? Here is a breakdown for the latest WWE and TNA television ratings courtesy of The Wrestling Observer and Figure Four Weekly Newsletters:

– TNA iMPACT! on 12/18 drew a final 1.2 cable rating (1.17) with 1.6 million viewers. The show did a 0.76 in males 18-34, 0.78 in males 35-49 and 1.07 among male teenagers.

– ECW on Sci Fi on 12/16 drew a final 1.3 cable rating with 1.9 million viewers.

– WWE Monday Night Raw on 12/15 drew a final 3.3 cable rating (3.33) with 4.99 million viewers. The average viewer was 34 with 65% of the audience being male. The show did a 2.63 in males 18-49 and 1.51 in women 18-49.

– WWE Friday Night Smackdown on 12/12 drew a final 2.0 broadcast rating. No word on total viewership.
