Thorn's WWE Return?, Maria Media, J.R/Cade War Of Words

>> Kevin Thorn's profile is back up on the ECW Superstar page on WWE.com. Thorn was brought in for this past week's television shows, but wasn't used. He recently returned to action at Florida Championship Wrestling under his trademark vampire gimmick. Thorn was last seen on WWE television just over a year ago.

>> SmackDown Diva Maria did more media rounds in the New York area this morning promoting tomorrow night's Tribute to the Troops show on NBC, appearing on FOX 5's Good Day New York as well as WFAN radio 1050 AM this morning. As reported earlier, she appeared on Opie & Anthony this past Wednesday. She talked for 40 minutes. It should be noted that the interview contains some adult content. According to WWE.com, she is scheduled to appear at the NY National Boat Show today at 6:00 p.m. EST. Boat show admission is $15.00 for adults with no additional charge in meeting Maria. The show is being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. For more information on the show, visit www.NYBoatShow.com.

>> Jim Ross has posted a blog saying his Q & A Section has been updated. He made note of the letter regarding a fan getting kicked out at a recent event (this past Sunday's Armageddon pay-per-view). J.R. wrote: "Also, I am not responding to questions about a fan who recently got kicked out of a WWE event as I did not see it nor did any one mention it to me so I don't know the story behind it or how to address it. Obviously it is unfortunate and hopefully the individual will continue to be a fan."

Ross also commented on Lance Cade referring to the commentary that followed his release as "cryptic" in an online interview this past week. Cade said, "I wasn't so much upset that, they could have just released me and not said anything. You know what I mean? But J.R.'s cryptic blog, it surprised me a little bit. I wasn't happy about it. But, J.R.'s got a job. He's gotta do what he's gotta do. I understand there had to be some business reason behind it, so I saw it the next day, I put it in the back of my head, you know?"

Here is J.R.'s response: "I also received a few emails asking me to respond to an internet interview that Lance Cade did where he described my blog as 'cryptic' which at times it may be. That may be a kind way of describing my writing. Nonetheless for those of you that recall, I expressed my disappointment in what occurred with Lance and that I hoped to see him back in the WWE someday. I think Lance has great potential which I made clear at the time. My intent on writing about it was based on so much erroneous info on why Lance and the WWE parted company and I never meant it as a sign of disrespect directed at a young man that I stated then that I liked and that I still do. Lance has certainly taken the hand that was dealt to him like a man and with that type of attitude he will be just fine going forward. The business doesn't have an over abundance of men with Lance Cade's size and athletic ability who actually knows what he's doing from bell to bell. In hindsight, I wish I had simply ignored the issue and the fans who were emailing me."
