Kenta Kobashi had another operation on his right elbow to replace a broken screw from a previous surgery. He is expected back for the second Budokan Hall in 2009.

Paco Alonso has stated that Dr. Wagner Jr. is finished with CMLL, due to the incident where he threw a chair into the crowd. Most feel that Alonso is blacklisting Wagner Jr. because he worked on the Perros Del Mal debut show.

As noted earlier, TNA is currently searching for a top female face to replace Gail Kim. They are currently searching, and the name of "Dark Angel" Sarah Stock has been discussed. The company may not go after her as they want to keep a friendly relationship with relationship with Paco Alonso and CMLL.

Super Crazy will be starting with AAA full time shortly, and will be pushed as a high mid-card face.

Super Crazy is stating that Dos Caras Jr. has not been signed by WWE, contrary to the claims of Caras Jr.

Mistico retained the CMLL Welterweight Title on December 8th, defeating Negro Casas. The match was well received by the crowd of 4,000, even throwing money at the finish, which rarely happens these days.

The original Gronda, who has been wrestling as Groon XXX, will be returning to AAA and likely feuding with the current Gronda.

Abismo Negro has returned to AAA from his most recent suspension.

AAA is defeating Raw in the ratings on Televisa. AAA airs before Raw, and this past week scored nearly a full point higher than Raw.
