Maria and Festus are out to present the first Slammy. Festus has a tie with overalls on, tremendous. This is the tag team of the year award, the nominees are: The Colons, Miz and Morrison, Priceless and Cryme Tyme.

And your winners are? MIZ AND MORRISON~! Hell yes. They are so excited about this as they celebrate on the stage. BROTHERS GOTTA HUG MAN! They fight over the Slammy, They then mock Festus and move his mouth for him, talking real slow and then slap him a few times. They get rid of him, and they thank Chuck Norris, their moms, Admiral Akbar, and they told everyone that they could win and they did. YES WE DID~! WE DID IT MAN! Miz then says this prestigious award means that they are the best tag team of 2008 and of the 21st century. There are winners and losers, and they are the 2008 tag team of the year, BE JEALOUS!

IC Title Contender's Tournament Semifinal Match: CM Punk vs. John Morrison

They both go for pins early, Morrison stun guns Morrison on the ropes and then covers for 2. Morrison counters a backslide, but Punk tries the GTS, escape by Morrison and a kick by Punk and cover for 1. Off the ropes and a dropkick by Morrison. He drags Punk to the floor but Punk gets the knee of doom against the apron. Big cross body by Punk on floor, and we'll head to commercial @ 1:30.

Back from commercial @ 4:00 as Morrison works the leg of Punk. During the break Morrison suplexed Punk to the floor, and Punk landed badly on the ankle. Punk with kicks to escape the leg hold, but Morrison with the dragon screw leg whip maintains control. Morrison up top now, Punk over and stops that. Goes up with Morrison, all the way up top?SUPER f–kING TOP ROPE RANA from Punk! Punk rolls over and gets a cover for 2. Morrison to his feet, and Punk with the corner knee charge. Morrison counters with the back breaker into the Russian leg sweep for 2. Punk rushes him to the corner, shoulder rams follow and then slaps. Goes for the kick but Morrison ducks and gets a back spin kick and a cover for 2. Springboard kick by Morrison misses, snap slam by Punk and a cover for 2. Punk springboards in with the clothesline and then gets a cover for 2. GTS try by Punk, countered into the victory roll by Morrison and he gets 2. GTS try again, Punk gets it and covers for the win.

Winner: CM Punk @ 8:00 via pin

-Punk moves onto the finals to face the winner of Kofi vs. Rey.

-We get a video package of Chris Jericho, Rand Orton, Cody Rhodes and Manu?Manu beating down John Cena.

-Todd is with John Cena now. Cena says Hustle, Loyalty, Respect. These are words that Chris Jericho doesn't think exist. When Cena was home with a broken neck, his dog became a huge fan of Jericho. He would lick himself when he saw Jericho, so he banned his dog from watching Raw. It is ridiculous. Cena is sorry about Jericho's son, but maybe his son was acting like him because he saw his father become a punk that needs his teeth get kicked in. If Jericho had gotten the beat down last week, he would be calling for Cena's suspension and for him to be stripped of the title. Cena won't do that, that's not how he handles business. Tonight he WILL fight Chris Jericho. He won't be sneaky about it either, because he is coming to get him. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect is the code that he lives by, and tonight Jericho gets a lesson in respect.

~SLAMMY #2~

Cryme Tyme and everyone's favorite hood rat Candice Michelle are out to present the next award for Finisher of the Year, and the nominees are: The Undertaker's Hell's Gate, Randy Orton's RKO, Evan Bourne's Shooting Star Press and The Big Show's KO Punch.

And your winner is? Evan Bourne's Shooting Star Press Cryme Tyme tried to steal the Slammy and bail. Evan can't be here tonight, and just as Candice says that, Mike Knox is out. He stares her down and takes the Slammy. Candice leaves and Knox cuddles the Slammy like it's his prison boyfriend.

-Randy Orton is out now and says that you would think that being WWE Champion for four months of the year and winning the Main Event at WrestleMania was impressive, but apparently not enough to win superstar of the year. Hell, he beat all of he nominees. Tonight is the same as always, a lack of respect for Randy Orton. It all goes back to Evolution. The group imploded due to HHH ad Batista's ego, they turned on him for becoming the youngest world champion ever. Tonight HHH and Batista face off tonight, men he has defeated. But he has a better idea. Cody Rhodes, Manu and himself are challenging HHH and Batista to a handicap match tonight. Tonight, the legacy is born.

-MVP is out in the ring now and says his losing streak ends tonight. Unlike Jimmy Rollins, he is not a fluke. He is in a little bit of a slump, but it took Philly 25-years to win something. MVP is better than the entire city of Philly. And when he gets his win, he will become a dynasty.

-And then M?V?C comes to the ring. MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE~!

MVP vs. MVC (MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE)

MVP is not happy about this as MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE is mocking his routine pretty good. Lock up, elbow by MVP and then a neck breaker gets 2. Mounted rights by MVP, and then a seated version of the abdominal stretch. MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE escapes, but MVP with a knee to the face take shim down. BALLIN elbow drop by MVP gets 2. MVP tosses MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE to the floor, and then slams him to the barricade. He rolls MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE back in, jaws with Rollins and when he comes back in, MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE takes control! BALLIN elbow is blocked by MVP, rights follow and then to the corner. MVP MISSES the charging corner kick, roll up by MOST VALUABLE CHARLIE and he wins!

~SLAMMY #3~

Tiffany and Matt Hardy will announce Extreme Moment of the year. Matt says it is great to be here in the birthplace of Extreme! And the nominees are: JBL/Cena Parking Lot Brawl, Undertaker's Crash Landing from TLC, HBK Meets the Jeri-Tron and Jeff Hardy's Plunge on Randy Orton.

And your winner is? Jeff Hardy's Plunge on Randy Orton. Jeff makes his way out, no face paint tonight. The crowd loves Jeff tonight. He saysit all started in NC on a trampoline, and it all comes to Sunday. He doesn't care if he walks, crawls or is carried out; he will leave Armageddon WWE Champion.

Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy

JIP with Jeff beating down Jericho in the corner. Jericho back with rights, takes Jeff down and then gets a backdrop suplex for 2. Jericho slaps Jeff, which just fires him up and he gets a boot and charges Jericho, to the apron and then the springboard dropkick by Jericho connects, sending Jeff to the floor. Jericho lets the ref count on Jeff, he slides back in and Jericho lays the boots to him and then gets a seated cobra clutch variation. Jeff battles to his feet, elbows out and then gets the wrap up clothesline. Rights by Jeff, off the ropes and a flying forearm by Jeff. A boot, scoop of the legs and the leg drop to the balls. Another clothesline by Jeff gets a cover for 2.Gourd buster suplex by Jeff, he goes up top now and Jericho pops up and crotches him. Jericho up with him and is tossed off. SWANTON misses! LIONSAULT~! 1?2?NO! Walls of Jericho tries, but Jeff escapes. Jericho tries again, but Jeff rolls him up for 2. Mule kick by Jeff, corner dropkick connects. A whip, something goes wrong, off the ropes and then the whisper in the wind by Jeff gets 2. TOF countered and Jericho gets the code breaker! 1?2..3!

Winner: Chris Jericho @ 6:00 via pin

-Jericho looks around for Cena after the match.

-Orton, Cody and Manu all walk out of Stephanie's office.

~SLAMMY #4~

This is for couple of the year. Kelly Kelly and Kane will present the award. Kane mentions his last relationship and the fact that he tombstoned a priest. Awesome. And the nominees are: Finlay and Hornswoggle, Glamarella, Edge and Vickie, and William Regal and Layla

And your winner is? Edge and Vickie! Vickie is out to accept the award, excuse me?EXCUUUUUUSE ME! I SAID EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE ME! Edge and her have been through so much in the last year. EXCUSE ME! Jesus she is getting some spectacular heat. This award means that true love always prevails. On behalf of Edge, his former beard and her, she accepts this. WE DID IT BABY! THANK YOU!

Santino and Beth make their way out now. Santino does NOT approve of this. Vickie and Edge are no couples of the years. Vickie is more like a cougar of the year. Beth never loved him, hated him or had Taker try to send him to hell. They challenge any other couples to a match tonight. Last week he strained his SCROTIFORY region, but they will win tonight.

-Santino and Beth wait in the ring. Finlay and Hornswoggle answer the challenge. Horny kisses Beth's hand, and Finlay gives her a hat. She slaps him and Finlay slaps Santino and drops him. Beth tells him to get his s–t together and Santino says he has this one.

Santino and Beth Phoenix vs. Finlay and Hornswoggle

The bell rings, lock up and a go behind by Finlay. Clubbing forearm drops Santino, to the corner and a charge by Finlay Santino gets a boot, but Finlay with the atomic drop. NOT THE SCROTIFORY REGION! Horny tags in, Santino gets on his knees, DDT by Horny. TADPOLE splash and that is all.

-Beth is pissed and Horny blows her kisses. Beth checks on Santino.

~SLAMMY #5~

Melina and Teddy Long are out to present the award. Melina puts over the divas, and Teddy says they are hot. And the nominees are: Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly.

And your winner is? Beth Phoenix! Beth throws down Santino in the ring and runs up to get her award. Beth says on behalf of all dominant divas, she accepts. She then shoves Melina, and they brawl! Santino is there to stop it, but Melina tosses Beth away and she hits Santino in THE SCROTIFORY REGION! Santino is about to throw up and Beth consoles him.

-HHH will team with Batista to face Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Manu Manu

~SLAMMY #6~

Joey Styles and Alicia Fox are out to present the OH MY GOD moment of the year. Alicia Fox, OH MY f–kING GAWD~! Styles is there to do the "OH MY GOD" line and that prompts an ECW chant. Fox says, "and you were taken off of TV." And the nominees are: CM Punk Cashes In, Cena Returns at the Rumble, Taker Sends Edge to Hell and Mayweather breaks Big Show's nose.

And your winner is? CM Punk Cashes In! Punk makes his way out to accept the award. He says that this is cool, and says this was a miracle year. He won MITB, went to Raw, won the Tag Titles and became World Champion. Now he wants to win the IC Title. He thanks Big Dave for the assist, Edge for being in the right place and then he has a list of people to thank, including Scotty Goldman. He then goes backstage and drags Styles out for one more "OH MY GOD!" But he refuses. The crowd keeps chanting it, and Punk says it is Philly, so Styles does it one more time.

IC Title Contender's Tournament Semifinal Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston

Lock up to begin, off the ropes and they work quick counters and covers. Off the ropes, and a big flapjack by Kingston. Regal and Layla watch on from the back. Kingston works move #491, the arm bar. Rey to his feet, but Kingston pulls him back down. Rey escapes, but Kingston back to a hammerlock. Rey out, gets Kingston in the ropes, looks for the 619 but Kingston gets a dropkick and a cover for 2. RANA by Rey, basement dropkick follows and a cover for 2. Rey goes for a dropkick, Kingston hooks the ropes so Rey crashes and burns. Kingston covers for 2. Kingston then misses a cross body, crucifix roll by Rey gets the win.

Winner: Rey Mysterio @ 3:00 via pin

-The finals will be Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk at Armageddon.

-Rey and Kofi shake and make nice after the match.

~SLAMMY #7~

Eve Torres and Mr. Kennedy are out to award the Match of the Year Slammy. Kennedy says Eve looks great, and they discuss the award and here comes the mic. Kennedy does him MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISTAAAAAAAA KENNEDY?and Eve finishes him off. Yeah. And the nominees are: MITB, Flair vs. HBK, The Royal Rumble and Edge vs. Taker HIAC.

And your winner is? Flair vs. HBK! HBK is out to accept the award. He doesn't know where to begin. He has been a part of great and unforgettable matches in WWE, but this match will hold a special place in his heart. Flair is his friend, but also the man that inspired him to get into the business. He meant what he said at WrestleMania, he does love him. And as the award sits on his mantle? Wait, JBL is out now. JBL accepts the award on behalf of Michaels, because him defeating Cena at the GAB was the match of the year and the award will look great next to all of his accolades. JBL leaves with the Slammy, and we get YOU SOLD OUT CHANTS for HBK!

HHH and Batista vs. Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Manu Manu

Cody and HHH to begin. Lock up and clubbing shots by HHH. He works the arm, tag to Batista andhe continues to abuse the arm of Cody. Shoulder blocks in the corner, a snap mare and kick to the face by Batista. Tag back to HHH, he and Batista beat down Cody. Manu in and they toss him into Cody and they fly to the floor. Orton sneaks in, and then bails when they see him. Smart man. We head to a commercial @ 1:30.

Back from commercial @ 4:00 as Orton lays the stomps to HHH, followed by a knee drop and cover for 2. More Orton stomps, SHADES OF RONNIE GARVIN~! Another cover for 2. And Orton goes to the chinlock and a bunch of people prepare to b—h. HHH escapes, but Orton takes him down. Manu tags in, diving head butt and cover for 2. Tag to Cody, rights to HHH follow. To the corner and Cody lays the boots to HHH and then gets a snap mare and a neck vice. More of a cravat really. HHH gets to his feet, slammed to the corner and Orton tags in and right back to the chinlock. HHH H's up and gets to his feet, backdrop suplex and that breaks the hold. Tag toCody and he stops HHH from making the tag. HHH manages to kick him off, Cody cuts him off and then HHH tosses him off of a bulldog try. BOTH men are down, looking for tags and Manu and Batista are in. Slam for Manu. Orton tossed to the floor. Spinebuster for Manu. Batista bomb stopped as Batista tosses Manu into Cody who was coming off of the top rope. Orton tags himself in, Batista runs wild on Cody and Manu, RKO countered and HHH nails him. HHH tosses Manu, follows him to the floor, Cody saves Orton from the Batista bomb?RKO on Batista and Orton gets the pin!

~SLAMMY #8~

Mickie James and Ron Simmons are out for the DAMN moment of the year. Suit jacket and DAMN shirt for Ron, great. And the nominees are: Khali's Kiss Cam, CM Punk Mariachi Warrior, Sailor JR and Santino's Split.

And your winner is? Khali's Kiss Cam! Khali is out in a PIMP suit! Khali speaks Khali-ese, and sideburns says that awards are a frivolous thing, and we shouldn't be obsessed with them. After more Khali speak, sideburns says we should not waste resources so our kids have a better tomorrow. Mickie then says that he had her at the Great Khali says. Jillian is out to sing the god awful song from Titanic. Kung Fu Naki and the Fink are out now, along with Sarge and Duggan. They wave in the background. Khali picks up Mickie and kisses her. Ron Simmons: "DAMN."

-King and Cole discuss the beat down Cena took last week, and that Cena is out for revenge tonight.

-Slammy Award winning R-Truth raps his way to the ring.

R-Truth vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler tries to introduce himself, R-Truth dances and Ziggler goes on the attack. Back flip and split into the kick by R-Truth. Rights by R-Truth, boots and then off the ropes and a stun gun spot is blown as R-Truth landed in the middle of the top and middle ropes. R-Truth rolls back in and Ziggler covers for 2. Elbow drops by Ziggler, and another cover for 2. Chinlock by Ziggler, R-Truth to his feet and then gets slammed down. Ziggler lays the boots to R-Truth and back to the chinlock. R-Truth works back to his feet again, elbows out but Ziggler with rights. Ziggler gets sent to the corner, hits hard and R-Truth clotheslines him to the floor. PLANCHA by R-Truth! WHAT'S UP! They trade blows on the floor, boot by R-Truth and as he tries to get back in the ring Ziggler up with the run off of the apron knee to the head on R-Truth, just like last week on Batista, rolls back in and beats the count for the win.

It is time for the Superstar of the Year Slammy. Stephanie McMahon is out to present the award. And the nominees are: HHH, Batista, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, John Cena and Edge.

And your winner is? Chris Jericho! Jericho keeps looking for Cena, and then heads to the ring. He says he is happy that we couldn't cast votes to decide the winner. The fans are mindless sheep that are steered in a biased direction. We wouldn't have been fair to him. But he knew that he would win, because he is the best in the world today. We will listen to what he has accomplished. The IC Champ for the 8th time, the king of the ladder match and won the world title three times, when he beats Cena this Sunday. It hasn't all been victories, he has lost something. He lost an identity as he feuded with HBK. He lost a persona he created to please us, but that has been a blessing. He was becoming what John Cena is today, a man that wants to make us happy. That makes him sick. So he can't think of a better way to close out the year than to defeat and destroy Cena this Sunday. He will wear the title again, do you understand? John Cena is now out and Jericho drops his Slammy, and then runs. He escapes into the crowd?and Edge is out now!

Edge vs. John Cena
Edge gets his pyro and Lilian Garcia introduces the WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion for tonight's main event.

Cena and Edge brawl to start the match. Cena with a shoulder and right hands. Cena nails a big bulldog and sends Edge to the floor. Lots of boos to Cena from the crowd. Cena goes to the floor where Edge is at as we go back to commercial.

Back from commercial and Edge has Cena on the mat, working on the neck. Edge puts Cena in the corner and continues to work on the neck. Cena fights back but Edge drops him on his face and gets another 2 count. Edge takes Cena back to the mat to work on the neck. Cena fights back with right hands and nails the blockbuster. Cena runs into a big right by Edge and hits the mat. Edge goes for the spear but Cena blocks it. Big forearm and body drop by Cena. Cena calls for and hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the FU but Edge slides out. Cena goes for it again and Edge counters it again. Cena tries again but Edge turns it into a 2 count. Cena catches Edge in the STFU. Jericho rushes the ring and Cena breaks the hold to meet Jericho on the outside. They brawl as the referee rings the bell. Cena and Jericho fight into the crowd. Triple H rushes the ring and attacks Edge. Jeff Hardy hits the ring and kicks Triple H. Hardy works on Edge now until Triple H kicks him. Triple H throws Hardy to the floor and hits the spinebuster on Edge. Triple H clotheslines Edge to the outside.

Jeff Hardy leaps off the steel steps on the outside and kicks Edge to the floor. Edge stumbles to the back as Triple H looks on from the ring. Jeff Hardy stands in between the two. Triple H's music hits as we go to replays. Jeff Hardy and Triple H talk trash from a distance to each other as RAW goes off the air.
