Jeff Hardy Misses Show + 'Injury' Update, Orton, Maryse, More
Jeff Hardy was originally scheduled to appear at the World Of Wheels Custom Auto event in Shreveport, Louisiana last night, but was unable to for reasons unknown. WWE replaced him with United States Champion Shelton Benjamin. TNA Superstar Scott Steiner was also in attendance at the event.
The WWE website has an update on WWE Champion Jeff Hardy's involvement in a pyrotechnics accident on last night's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. According to the website, Hardy went into shock after suffering what appeared to be first and second degree burns from the explosion. He was then rushed to a local medical facility where he was treated for his injuries. The website will update his situation as more details become available. Of course, this is an angle.
