Pre-WrestleMania SD! To Be A Live Show?, THQ Update, HBK, More

Earlier today, video game website N-Europe broke the news that THQ, which publishes WWE's SmackDown vs. RAW franchise and is developing the upcoming "Legends of WrestleMania" game, was on the verge of shutting down. After stirring up a lot of commotion, N-Europe later issued following retraction: "Updated – THQ have contacted N-Europe and debunked the story. We apologize for raising a panic; we had good reason to trust our source on this matter, but it looks like some wires were crossed along the way."

While THQ is not shutting down, THQ offices in both Surrey, Great Britain and San Diego, California suffered massive layoffs today. According to some in the company, it appears as if the entire mobile division will be shut down completely.

WWE Smackdown will be live on April 3rd, from the WrestleMania AXXESS event in Houston, Texas.
