Wes Brisco Signs WWE Deal, Vince McMahon Draws Ratings, RAW

As noted several weeks ago here on the website, RAW will not be preempted this year due to the Westminster Kennel Dog Show which airs next month. The dog show will air from 8PM ET to 9PM ET, then shift from USA to CNBC when RAW starts.

Most in WWE are crediting Vince McMahon's return to RAW's jump in the ratings. The hope is that the fallout from the Royal Rumble will keep the RAW rating high next week.

WWE is planning to release the Royal Rumble on Blu-Ray as well as DVD.

In WWE's latest case of "who you know," Wes Brisco, the 25-year-old son of WWE Hall of Famer/producer Gerald Brisco is now training to be a wrestler in WWE's developmental camp in Tampa, Florida. Brisco previously competed as a professional wakeboarder. It is said to be too soon to judge his potential seeing how he has no prior wrestling experience.
