Koko B. Ware Has A Massive Ego?, Nash/Flair, Cena, More
Koko B. Ware was a guest on the "Who's Slamming Who" wrestling podcast this week and told host Tommy Fierro that he should have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a long time ago. "I was surprised, but I tell you, I thought I should have been there a long time ago. The thing about it is it still makes you feel good to be recognized." He added, "I thought I was already in the Hall of Fame. I thought to myself, 'If they give it to me or not, I'm already there.' Now, this here is the real deal," Ware said. "I know it's a voting thing or roundtable discussion, but it's just a blessing out of the sky that this time they picked me. My time to shine." The Bristol Press has an interview up with TNA star Kevin Nash where he talks about working an upcoming WrestleFest event also featuring Ric Flair. Nash added, "These shows are more one-on-one. In the WWE or WCW, there is no fan interaction. You just do your thing and get out. Here, I can spend some time with everyone. I really want to catch up with Ric. Actually, as soon as I heard he was going to be there, I knew it was a good time to go. I love doing these things because it's nice to sit around and talk with the guys. It's a fraternity of brothers. It's also eye-opening when you've been wrestling for 20 years and there are guys in the business that you've never met."
As noted earlier, John Cena will be a special guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight at 12:05 ET on ABC. The Raw Superstar will be on hand to promote his new movie, 12 Rounds, which opens in theaters nationwide next Friday, March 27. He was originally scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, but the show's producers nixed his appearance when U.S. President Barack Obama agreed to do the show. No word yet if or when Cena will be rescheduled.
